Plague Throat is not a new band for you if you have followed Brutal Pokhara’s evolution nor they are a new band for you if you have followed the Indian Death Metal scene.  Considered by many as one of the finest Indian Death Metal band, this band deserves all the accolades that you could possibly give without hesitating an inch. Formed in 2009 and with lots of impressive shows under their belt the band has finally decided to released ‘An Exordium to Contagion’, their debut EP being released by Incanned Production, India.

This is a very proper Death Metal record – brutal enough to make you want to wrestle a mad bear. Tracks like ‘Present Chaos’ and ‘Sinking Higher’ will make you want to do that and now that the band is finally in the light with their debut EP and with their brand of intense  Brutal and Extreme Death Metal, it’s about time Plagues claim all their dues. However I just wished the band had recorded their drums live and have maintained a little secrecy over their tracks because three out of the four tracks were independently released long before they were integrated on this EP but still I consider it a nugget of a debut release.
